Overview
Rumtse is situated 70 Kms east of Leh, the starting point of this trek. Rupshu Valley lies sandwiched between Ladakh in the north, Tibet in the east and Zanskar in the west. It is a part of the Changthang plateau and is characterized by high arid plains, nomads, high pasturelands, snow-capped peaks and beautiful high altitude azure-blue lakes, the largest being Tsokar & Tso Moriri at 4,500 m. From Korzok to Kiber the transformation of Landscape is breathtaking.

OUTLINE ITINERARY
Day 1: Leh- Rumtse (3 hrs drive) - Kyamar 4600 m (4 hrs).
Day 2:Kyamar- Tisaling 4900 m (6-7 hrs).
Day 3: Tisaling – Ponganabu 4600 m (6 hrs) .
Day 4: Ponganagu – Nuruchan 4700 m (6 hrs).
Day 5: Nuruchan- Gyamar Barma 5100 m (7-8 hrs) .
Day 6: Gyamar Barma – Gyamar 5200 m (3-4 hrs).
Day 7: Gyamar – Korzok 4500 m (6-7 hrs).
Day 8: Korzok to Kyangdam (4595 M) - 05 Hrs:
Day 9: Kyangdam to Skitpodangsa (4563 M) or Nurboo Sumdo. 04-05 Hrs:
Day 10: Skitpodangsa to Getpabuzak (4600 M) 05 Hrs:
Day 11: Getpabuzak to Tarangyokma (4731 M) 04-05 Hrs:
Day 12: Tarangyokma to Karsha Gompa (4900 M) or Parang La base (Bubnen) (5089 M) 03-04 Hrs:
Day 13: Parang La base to Takkarzong (4850 M) via Parangla 5650m 7-8 hrs.
Day 14: Takkarzong to Thagltak (4500 M) 04-05 Hrs:
Day 14: Thagltak to Kibber 03 Hrs 4-5 hrs.
